Royale Party at Louis'

For the 13th Jolly Club game Royale Party at Louis', we warmly welcome you to the royal dinner of Louis XIV! As a waiter, your job is to serve the picky nobles at this extravagant party. Enjoy the masquerade ball in the evening but don't get too distracted. Nobody likes to wait for their food!

In Royale Party at Louis', you try to get the most points by placing the right cards with the nobles. Each player gets 6 nobles and 1 cheater. The cards are shuffled and 9 cards are placed on the table in a 3x3 grid. On your turn, you choose 3 cards from a row or column. You place these cards in order of your choice among the different nobles. If you cannot or do not want to place a card, you must place it with a noble and then discard all the cards with that noble. Each noble has certain requirements, if you meet them, you discard all the cards of that noble and turn the noble on its side. For example, some nobles only want certain desserts or have a specific number of points with them. These now score you points. The cards on the table in the grid are replenished and it is the next player's turn. The game ends when a player has been able to score all nobles or when the end-of-round card in the draw pile has been drawn twice. The player with the most points wins the game.
