Terra Pyramids
Egypt, 4,000 years ago... Players compete to build pyramids in honor of the god Horus and the pharaohs. For this you need money, raw materials and manpower. Whoever builds the smartest wins the game.
The basis of Terra Pyramides is very simple, place a tile at a construction location or a pyramid, then activate the horizontal, vertical or diagonal line of which the placed tile is part. The different tiles in the line can give you coins (in the basic version, eyes of Horus), workers and/or different colored building blocks. You can move the workers in the activated line to different foundations (claiming them as your upcoming pyramid). For each layer of your pyramid that you build, you need 3 workers plus building blocks in the color of the chosen foundation. At the first layer of a pyramid you determine which color (7 different) building blocks are needed for the further layers. And therein lies the trick of the game, the tactical laying of your tile to obtain the required color of building blocks requires some planning. With the collected coins you can buy joker building blocks and workers, which you can place freely. Despite the simple rules, a very intuitive game
This game contains 2 expansions. These bring more options and new challenges to building pyramids.
From the duo Kramer and Kiesling.
The game offers various game options, both competitive and cooperative.
The game also offers two separate expansions: “Grave Goods” and “the Nile”, which can be played separately or in combination.
In the “Grave Goods” expansion you can also gain an advantage when a pyramid is completely enclosed
In “the Nile” expansion you can also use the Nile to move workers to construction sites and pyramids, when using the Nile your boat is moved which, depending on its position, gives extra points at the end of the game.
