Valeria: Card Kingdoms [Second Edition]

This new edition of the Valeria: Card Kingdoms base game is cheaper than the first edition, so more gamers can get in on the amazing game universe that Daily Magic Games launched in 2015. It will have a new system of tracker boards, tokens, and +10 markers to count resources, and the plastic insert of the box will have a special well to hold the tracker boards. 

Vile monsters plague the kingdom of Valeria. Use Force to kill minions like pesky Goblins and beasts such as the mighty Owl Bear... to earn rewards. Then defeat the boss in each area to clear the land and earn rewards based on the number of monsters you killed in that area.

Players start with 1 Farmer and 1 Knight. Throughout the game, you and your friends collect Gold to build a tableau of loyal citizens, such as the hardworking Butcher the magical Paladin... or the brash Mercenary.

In a single game, there are 10 different citizens to choose from, plus almost all of them have alternate cards with different characters and different effects... in total there are 18 different civilians to choose from, so each game will give you different options and different challenges. No two games will be alike.

Once you've hired the right combination of citizens, you can buy powerful domains, such as the Village - which produces gold for you every round... or the Castle - which allows you to manipulate the dice.

Playing Valeria: Card Kingdoms is simple and intuitive. Players take turns rolling the dice. All citizens are activated with the result of each die and the sum of both dice. When you roll the dice, you activate the ability on the left for your civilians and all other players with matching citizens activate the ability on the right. That's right! Everyone benefits when the dice are rolled. It's even possible that your friends will reap greater benefits than you on your own turn.

At the end of the game, you reveal your Duke and tally up all your victory points to see who will be the next king of Valeria
