In Odin, you want to clear your hand as quickly as possible and send all your Vikings out into the world.
The game takes several hands, with each hand consisting of one or more rounds. The deck contains cards in six colors, each numbered 1-9, and each player begins with a hand of nine cards.
The main player of the hand places one card on the table. The next player passes (but may play on a subsequent turn) or plays the same number of cards (or one more than that number) of higher value. If you play two or more cards, the cards must have the same number or color, and the value of these cards is created by placing their numbers in order from high to low. For example, if you play a blue 3 and blue 6, their value is 63, not 36. If you play and are not in the lead, you must take one of the cards from the previous game into your hand and discard the rest.
Play continues around the table until one player runs out of cards, ending the round immediately, or until all players have passed in succession. In the latter case, you discard the last cards played; the person who played them discards a single card to start a new round. If the leading player has cards in his hand of one color or number, he plays all these cards at once to end the hand. When a hand ends, each player gets 1 point for each card he still has.
If no player has at least 15 points, shuffle the deck and start a new hand. If someone does have 15 or more points, the one with the fewest points wins.
