About Helvetiq
The story of Helvetiq began in 2008 with a game about Switzerland. Hadi Barkat, the founder of Helvetiq, had to prepare for his citizenship test. He experienced a real moment of fun and learning. He questioned his Swiss friends, but they didn't know as much as they wanted or claimed to. They all had a good laugh about it. The idea for making the game was born. The first game of Helvetiq became a classic and sold over 30,000 copies in Switzerland alone. It was beyond expectations! The people at Helvetiq realized that people were passionate about intelligent play and learning in a fun and accessible way. Success is inspiring and so they continued to create in Switzerland and beyond. They ventured into Belgium and the US and it worked there too. Now they work with distributors in more than 15 countries.
