How to play Dungeon! Your goal in the game Dungeon! is simple. Choose a Hero (Rogue, Cleric, Fighter, or Wizard). Run through the dungeon, fight Monsters, and collect as many Treasures as you can. Be the first to come out alive with enough Treasures!
Dungeon! is similar to Dungeons & Dragons, but simplified and in the form of a board game. Players explore a dungeon divided into levels of increasing difficulty, fighting monsters for valuable treasures. As players venture deeper into the dungeon, the monsters become more difficult and the treasures more valuable. Different character classes each have slightly different combat skills - most notable is the wizard, who can cast spells. Battles are simulated with dice; players roll the dice to attack a monster, and if that fails, the dice are rolled again to determine the effect of the monster's counterattack. The winner is the first player to return a certain amount of treasure to the entrance of the dungeon.
