Acquire

In Acquire, each player strategically invests in companies while trying to maintain a majority stake. As the companies grow in tile placement, they also begin to merge, giving the majority shareholders of the acquired company hefty bonuses, which can then be used to reinvest in other chains. All investors in the acquired company can then redeem their shares for current value or exchange them 2-for-1 for shares of the newer, larger company. The game is a race to acquire the greatest wealth.

At issue is the 2023 version. Renegade Game Studio is partnering with Hasbro and releasing their new version, with Classic mode or Tycoon mode - play with or without the merger bonus for tertiary shareholders.
