Factory Funner is a dynamic tile-laying game by Allplay where players take on the roles of factory managers installing machines, laying pipes, and placing reservoirs to build the most efficient and profitable factory. Each round, players simultaneously select new machine tiles and attempt to optimally integrate them into their factory by correctly connecting inputs and outputs. The game offers both a real-time mode for quick decisions and a turn-based variant for a more thoughtful play style, making it suitable for various player preferences.
How is the game played? The game consists of eight rounds during which players add new machines to their factory. At the beginning of each round, machine tiles are revealed, and players simultaneously choose which machine to add. After selection, they place the machine in their factory, connecting the inputs and outputs to the appropriate reservoirs or other machines. Each correctly connected machine generates revenue, while building additional reservoirs and pipelines incurs costs. After eight rounds, the player with the most money wins.
