Earth is a strategic tableau-building game by Inside Up Games where 1 to 5 players take on the role of nature developers creating their own ecosystems. With simple rules and a vast array of cards, Earth offers countless strategic possibilities and high replayability.
In Earth, players start by selecting an island, climate, and ecosystem card, each providing unique starting resources, bonuses, and end-game objectives. Throughout the game, players take turns choosing one of four actions: planting, composting, watering, or growing. The active player receives the primary benefits of the chosen action, while other players gain secondary benefits, ensuring dynamic gameplay with continuous engagement.
Players build their tableau by playing cards representing flora, fauna, and terrains, creating a self-sustaining engine of growth and expansion. With over 364 unique cards, the combinations are nearly endless, offering new synergies and strategies in every playthrough.
The game ends when a player completes their 4x4 tableau with 16 cards. Points are then tallied based on completed ecosystems, achieved fauna objectives, composted cards, collected plant and growth pieces, and played events. The player with the most points wins.
Earth also offers a solo mode and team play options (2 vs. 2), making it suitable for various play styles and group sizes. The blend of thematic depth and strategic complexity makes Earth a must-have for board game enthusiasts.
