World of Draghan: Guitige Ouwe Draakjes

Many years have passed since the truce in Draghan, the day when both dragons and humans decided to live side by side in peace. All the inhabitants of Draghan celebrate this day with a race. This is organized by humans, but run by ancient dragons. At the finish line is a treasure chest filled with wealth, the same chest that was once offered to buy off the peace of the dragons. As a result, the dragons now use their wits against each other and not against the Draghanians. And today you turn out to be a dragon yourself.... so be prepared.

Cheeky Old Dragons is a racing game full of surprises. Each round begins with a draft where you will obtain the cards that you can use this round. You will only play 2 of those cards yourself and the rest you will deal to your opponents. So you will need to get a nice combination of positive and negative cards to plan successfully in the next phase. Next, you will play the cards in your own timeline and those of your opponents. After that, the cards are executed in turn.

However, because of the many action cards in the game, a lot of unexpected elements will occur so programming the actions is not as simple as you might think. Maybe you'll encounter a minstrel who can sing so enchantingly that everyone has to skip a card, or you've eaten those chili peppers again and your flatulence causes you to fly forward a few spaces while the dragons behind you prefer to take a step backwards (they really don't want to smell this!). You will also encounter angry villagers, quacks, thieves, knights, a magic wonder lamp, whirlwinds, strange potions (why do you drink them anyway?), old magic books, trolls and even a bigfoot (a very cuddly creature by the way). And this is only a small selection of what you will find on your path. Many characters you will recognize from Once Upon a Dragon.

Due to the large variety of cards (which you don't use all in one game), an extra risky ending, an extra course with holes in the road and collapses for which you have to flee, the game keeps providing new challenges.

Furthermore, Cheeky Old Dragons contains some additional dragon cards for Once Upon a Dragon and you will also find an expansion for Cheeky Old Dragons in Once Upon a Dragon.
