From your personal cave, you trek across the vast world of prehistory. You search for precious land, such as fertile plains and locations with spring water. Along the way you tame wild animals, with which you move through the world with jumps, fly over mountains and even attack your opponent. In this game you win points by claiming the largest number of fields with your own tribal pawns. Each turn you place a tribal pawn on an empty space next to one of your own cave tiles or previously placed pawns. As soon as you place a pawn on a space with an animal symbol, you take a chit with the corresponding symbol. You can use this tile during your next turn. In this turn, your pawn can then jump a space further with the horse, fly over a mountain with the eagle, or push away another player's pawns with the bear.
Great Plains is an accessible and quick game for two players. The modular board ensures that every game is different. Who will be the ruler of the plains of Great Plains?
