Preschoolers are the best philosophers around. They are not yet stuck in knowledge and will spontaneously think about any question. It is therefore heartening to engage them in conversation about philosophical questions. You can do that with the Talking pictures.

With the Praatplaatjes, you can use appealing, funny pictures to explore philosophical questions. This can be done with toddlers but also with older children. With this method, philosophizing is certainly not too difficult. The pictures make the topics of discussion concrete for the children and at the same time offer the facilitator structure for the conversation.

Why talk pictures?
Thinking with young children is easiest when you start a conversation about concrete objects and people from the world around them. That is why we work with illustrations, talking pictures. The 50 cards with illustrations are 94 x 135 mm in size so that they can also be viewed well in a group of children. With these talking pictures 48 questions can be examined, which are on the back. Digging questions are also given with the research questions. This makes it easy for the user to explore a topic in depth. The card set also comes with clear, but short, instructions for use, so you can get started quickly and easily.

Why philosophize with children?
By philosophizing you learn a lot.
