The set contains 8 references from the Model Air series in 17 ml format. Suitable for painting combat vehicles, trucks or artillery, as well as the camouflage schemes used by the French Army during World War II. The French Army did not have exact color charts, we know some shades and their names from written archives, such as Bleu and Vert Olive Mat, which were used before WW2, or more undefined names such as Vert Olive reglamentaire or Vert Armée. The camouflage schemes used for cars, trucks, light vehicles and even artillery pieces were sophisticated and achieved a positive disruptive effect, sometimes combining up to five shades. Four other shades are known to have been used as early as the 1930s: Vert Olive Mat 2, Ocher Jaune, Brun (a reddish-brown shade) and Vert Claire.
