Carcassonne: Jagers en Verzamelaars

Southern France, several thousand years ago. Primitive tribes live in a fertile area made up of forests, rivers and lakes. The players are tribal elders, who employ their followers as fishermen, gatherers or hunters. Fishermen live along rivers and build huts on the shores of lakes. Gatherers travel through forests in search of gold, berries and mushrooms. Hunters hunt mammoths and moose on the steppes. But watch out for hunting saber-toothed tigers! Which tribe moves the easiest through this ancient territory, where centuries later the city of Carcassonne will be built? 

Carcassonne: Hunters and Gatherers is basically the same as the classic Carcassonne base game, but with slightly different rules and game pieces it offers new strategic challenges for both new players and seasoned Carcassonne fans.
