Brood & Bier

Bread and Beer is a strategic game for 2 players. By playing cards you harvest resources, improve your village and sell beer and bread. Each card can be used in three different ways. Slide the card above the game board for a harvest, below the game board for an expansion of the village or discard the card to sell beer and bread.

The way you get cards depends on the round. During a strong year, you pass hand cards back and forth, each time choosing a card to play. During a lean year, you have to make do with the cards you are dealt, although you may trade cards with the trading card deck on a limited basis.
