Amsterdam (City Collection 2)

In the strategic game Amsterdam, you are influential merchants, at the end of the 19th century. You manufacture all kinds of goods such as furniture, tiles and crystal and store them in the warehouses near the harbor, then trade them. By skillfully using the cards and cleverly choosing dice, they obtain valuable resources. With these, they can take possession of blocks of houses, construct important buildings, hire workers and move their ships through the harbor.

Whoever has the best skills and foresight gets closer and closer to victory. Whoever has the most prestige at the end of the game is the winner. 

Amsterdam is a reimplementation of the game Macao with a new setting, improved card balance and new game elements. It challenges players to make combinations of skills, and to correctly calculate the benefit of delayed gratification for actions. Amsterdam is part of Queen Games' City Collection.
